The Book at the Track
Race 4 at Saratoga on 9/2/12 was named for The Anatomy of Horse Race Handicapping Or How to Have Fun at the Track, so, the author got to present the winning connections, Owner Michael Dubb and Jockey Ramon Dominguez, a copy of the book. It was a special day for Jockey Ramon, as he not only set a new record for wins at a Saratoga Meet AND tied his own and Johnny Velazquez's most wins on a card (6) mark, he got a copy of the book too!

The Book joins Night School
Thanks to Night School Hosts (Professors) Jeremy Plonk and Joe Kristufek for featuring the book in the last Newbie Tuesday of the year. If you missed it, then just go to www.horseplayernow.com and look for completed events to read the transcript. Please note, if you sent an email to the author via firstname.lastname@example.org you may have received an error message. Sorry about that. Hopefully, the problem has been fixed, so, give it another try. We'd love to hear from you about Night School and anything about the book or horse racing in general!
Thanks to Pete, Bill, and all the staff at Monmouth Park for making the book signing on 9/15 such a success. It was great to meet and chat with the fans in attendance for the New Jersey Thoroughbred Festival. If you didn't get a chance to purchase a copy of the book in all the racing excitement, there are a few on hand in the gift shop!
Thanks to Mick and everyone at the Saratoga Saddlery for hosting those Sunday Brunch book signings during the Saratoga Meet at their store on 460 Broadway.
Thanks to Tom Gallo of Parting Glass Racing for inviting the author to speak at their monthly horse racing partnership meeting Thursday August 23rd. What a fun bunch of race fans to chat with!
The Author would like to thank everyone attending the August 16th book signing at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. It was a sell-out because of your interest! Also, apologies for the local newspapers listing the signing as taking place on Friday, as they were given the incorrect date by the Racing Museum. The good news is: signed copies can still be purchased at the Lyrical Ballad Bookstore on Phila Street in downtown Saratoga.
Thanks to Vince Gallagher of Star 101.3 FM for letting the author expound about the book on Saturday 7/28.
